You da man!
Here's a question: If you really suck as a pilot and have little money, which means these repairs would put your cash in the negative, will
you be able to make the repairs or will you have to sell and start over with a different plane? Further, can you sell a plane that's badly
damaged? I would imagine that the price you'd get would be WAAAAAY low, basically, "Let me take this off your hands..."
Good Stuff! I tried another addon that simulated a ton of systems failures but it, of course, didn't have all the other great features that FSP
has. VERY detailed though; specifics like: Airspeed gauge damaged, etc. Ever little thing. I guess it could get boring or tedious.
Here's another: I never had a gear problem (except that time I intentionally lowered it at about 300 knots and got it jammed half-way
down!) but, can you get bulb failures? I think it would be cool if the gear dropped but the dash bulb is blown out, so you have no
confirmation. Of course, you could go to outside view, unless you build an an option to block this view. Other bulb failures or iindicators
could give you the option to have a quick or thorough inspection on landing. A thorough one would cost more in addition to the repair, find
the real problem and fix it, be it an indicator or bulb or the full system. A quick check may result in fixing the wrong item. Example: fix the
fuel indicator while you have a gaping hole in your tank! Or maybe even a quality repair setup: Cheap repair might mean duck taping a
hole in the fuselage while a full repair will involve a full panel replacement and repaint.
Just thinking with the fingers again!
