There are two decent freeware programs out there that will handle AI traffic and ensure proper seperation (or at least, a large
improvement).
Off the top of my head, I don't recall the names, but one will put them in holding patterns and space them out for the approach, so you can
actually land one, take one off, land one, etc, etc with proper spacing. The other one will check for conflicts and slew any offending AI
traffic back until it's at a safe distance from other AI traffic or you.
Both are very effective at eliminating the 14 planes lined up for approach during an arrival block that are spaced 5 feet apart.
