The point is you didn't hit anywhere near hard enough to do any real damage. Over 500fpm would have caused problems, but you were
under, so although hard it was acceptable, as opposed to a crash landing. A little more flare might help next time (0.22 degrees?) which
would catch the air under the wings better. Small planes are a bit awkward as they are so susceptible to turbulance (try plonking one
down behind a 747
