same thing happened to me,
I had an instrument failure. All my IAS gauges stopped working, everything else was fine.
Thought i'd beeter declare an emergancy or i will get a slapped wrist for not doing so. Plus i didn't know what speed i was doing s i had
the plane (777) approach as a visual landing, so i could have been overspeed or i may have been under and would have hit the graoud
hard.
Anyway, flight report suggests that i declared an emergancy without a proper reason!!! fined, penalty points! WTF?
what was i suppose to do?
