Update.. Is the update on hold till FSX comes out?

I hope there is no compatibility issues between FS9 and FSX with regards to FSP. I agree with others that the notion of buying another
system just for FSX is not practical. I have a friend who just bought a new system that is decked out, big time!! A Sony with widescreen,
big buck$$. It won't be good enough for FSX, he's planning to upgrade again....

My FS9 is decked out with all the bells and whistles and a pure enjoyment to fly, Active Sky, Flight Environment , FSP, FSCargo, etc, etc....
with some great aircraft. Knowing that some of these will be compatible with FSX, I can ill-afford to do this again and again every 3-4
years.

I hope that you continue to code for FS9. Again, thanks for an awesomely outstanding program, please keep up the great work....

My current various "statisticall" guess on this are as follow:

they will renew totally the core of FS.... 50% chances that they don't
FsP would run "as it is" on FsX 10% chances it will.
Update will take me one month or less: 35%
Update will take me 2-4 month: 40%
Update will take me more: 10%
Update will be impossible/not suitable: 15%
The FsX SDK will be out just after the release: 10% chance

In brief without having a look at FsX I have absolutely no idea of all this.
Just my personnal guess

I hope at least FsX will REALLY be out this summers and that we can have
the SDK quickly and not as it was for Fs2004, month later. I'll try t least
to have a hand on the beta, the sooner I can have a look sooner I'll be able
to give an accurate reply.
