I'll try to find what happen but it might be difficult, I need more informations and tests.
First FSX-se didn't have any update, it's still the last "615" version.
I just tried with you method, no CTD, also I didn't had any special report of CTD by mail those time.
Maybe it's more a windows update that changed some DLL or another addon ?
-I tried on Windows 7 x64, what OS do you have exactly ?
-Do you have any other addon ? Did you try to (temporary) remove all except FsPassengers ?
-If you don't open the new windows you don't have any ctd ?
