Honestly, I haven't posted here before. I too am a fan of FSPassengers and am PATIENTLY waiting and not complaining like a petulant child. As this goes, reading some of these responses, I have to say that many of you have no clue, cannot read, or are incapable of comprehending what is happening. So maybe I can break it down for you. Mind you that I don't know Dan personally at all, nor am I affiliated with FSP in any way other than a consumer, so this is an outsiders view from just reading the facts and adding a tiny bit of common sense.

This is not an update. So the comment of it being "absurd" for taking a year, that comment is absurd and misinformed in itself. Dan has said that it is a complete rewrite and rewriting 80,000 lines of code from x32 to x64 sounds like a pretty big undertaking. So a rewrite is not an update! Now, I am not a computer programmer so maybe that's why it sounds like a lot to me, however, in my life experience, rewriting 80,000 lines of anything seems like a lot.  Maybe, since it seems so easy for you to claim that it's absurd, then just maybe you should write your own FS addon program and market it and sell it. Maybe it'll give you something to do while you wait for this NEW PRODUCT. All those that want an answer or an update, look at it like this, I am pretty sure that Dan isn't sitting on the program and making you wait. I'm sure that he wants to make money off of his time and effort. He is probably busy and has illustrated quite clearly that he could find a work around and shave off 3 weeks or he could get lost chasing a ghost to a dead end and wasting some time. If you need an update every day, then read his last update and pretend that he just posted it. If he had news, he'd give you news. It doesn't seem that he works with a lot of people. Doesn't seem like he has a huge staff and a PR department with a call center giving 24/7 customer service. So every time he writes a line in the forum that's not a line of code in the program being written. You can help yourself and us all by not being part of the problem but being part of the solution and exercising patience, as I and many others are.  Lastly, the more that you complain, that won't make the program to get written any quicker. If I was Dan, just by the overwhelming demand alone that is being expressed here, I would double the price when it comes out. Again, he must not be a huge corporation because if he was, he would look at this and do just that. I am not a fan of raising prices but you all are sure giving an excellent argument for that to happen. Just saying!
