Ah, you have FS9. Now I get it. You didn't mention this in the original post. If it stopped working a couple of months ago, it may be because of certain protections built in to the Program Files (X86) directory. An update to Windows on either of those platforms could have caused the issue. I'm not 100% sure but it could be the case. A way you could possibly solve this is to install FS9 in C:\ Program Files\FS9 ...NOT in the (X86) directory. I do recall seeing on various forums of people having issues with FS9 and Windows 10.
