Quote:Plus, FS2004 ATC was included with FS2004; the cost of FS2004 itself if still way cheaper then the cost of Radar Contact 4.
That's definetly a good point! I didn't even know it costed that much. However I must say that a 737 comes with FS9 but I bought the
PMDG anyway because it has things that the default doesn't. In my opinion (again I didn't try the software yet and I do NOT work for
them

these things might not be as important and I recognize that. I'm not trying to convince anybody, I'm just trying to show a different point of
view.

Thanks for the correction. I was on my way out and didn't have time to look for the proper word. Again, yes I hate it too. But it's not too bad.
I mean when I read this post I was expecting something like the times of the AMIGA or what MACS have now. In that case I might have
had second thoughts too, maybe. Of course if you compare it to FS9 voices, it is a stepback. But I don't mind a little less earcandy if it gets
you closer to reality. There are so many posts on this forum alone where people complain about FS9 ATC being DUMB! This software
promises to replace FS9 ATC brain and make it more intelligent.
I don't know, maybe I see it differently because I do fly in real life. The fact that FS ATC behaves almost like the real thing with RC4, excites
me and makes me go over the earcandy thing.
Let's put it this way: why you don't use FS9 ATC? Because it sucks! It doesn't give good vectors, it doesn't recognize SID, STARS,
Holdings. It vectors you into mountains....etc...
With RC4 you can do all of those things, which to me are way more important than the way it sounds (which ain't too bad).
I'm having hard time showing my point because of the language barrier I guess.
