i love this program, Dutch made me buy it lol
what i do, is start up FS, get to the gate. go to fsnav, make the route, save as a pln. then minimise, start asv, and import the saved route
into ASV. couple mins later, its all uploaded, im back in FS with the sky as it is.
Dont think anyone has mentioned the radar that works with it also (which works in fs) showing precip.
as for your other questions, im unsure as ive not played around with it that much yet
