Did anyone read their VATSIM handbook lol? It sais that programs that simulate failures while flying (Gear disabled, flaps disabled,
emergency landing etc) are BANNED and restricted while using the VATSIM Networks.

Since you obviously read their rules, could you please tell me in which paragraph you read that. It seems to have mysteriously vanished.

It's not that hard to look up the paragraph about emergencies in the VATSIM regulations by yourself, is it? But no "oh, some guy said this and that about whoever, I'll just believe everything I read on the net". Ridiculous.

For all the lazy bums out there:

8. Pilots are permitted to declare in-flight emergencies. If, for any reason, air traffic control requests the pilot to terminate the emergency, then the pilot must do so IMMEDIATELY or log off of VATSIM. Pilots are not permitted to simulate, in any manner, an unlawful act while logged onto the VATSIM.net network including, but not limited to, declaring a hijack by statement utilizing either voice or text or by entering a transponder code of 7500.

Maybe the controller asked Jetsgo's friend to terminate that emergency because things were getting over his head at KSFO? Remember there are amateurs on BOTH sides in a FS network. If he ignored such a request he suffers the consequences.

Although I guess there is much more to this story that we don't know about, you don't get a permanent ban from VATSIM for nothing.
