FsP & Go Around

Hi mates,

For the moment I didn't have to perform a missed approach while on final but I have a question.
If one day I have to do so, how FsP will manage my actions ?
If I'am on ILS waiting for DH during a poor weather day and don't have visual reaching DH, I will perform a missed approach.
I will have to raise gear and flaps and climb to a specific point accordind to the missed approach procedure.
Will FsP let me do that without penalty ?

I have done a missed approach and FsP didnt respond but that was only the demo/original version

Yes, the only time you'd get penalized is for poor flying or if you arrive at the destination late because of the missed approach.

for FSP to detect a missed approach you have to hit the TOGA button on thruster (Take Off- Go Around)

Hi,

today i had a very bad weather situation over nurnberg and on final there was traffic on the runway. So i have done a go arround (given by
atc), have pushed the GA button but FsP did not respond. I was flying the Flight1 ATR.

Any idea Dan?

When I had to to so, I simply apply full throttle and raise the gear when positive Vs...

And indeed got penalties for late arrival and lack of remaining fuel.

Does it means that there is a way to avoid such penalties ?

depending on your aircraft usually it is on the engine window that you pull up using the SHIFT+ keys

it has to be the Fs2004 TOGA button (some add-ons may use a "fake button" or they hown button,
also you need to have flap and gear down for this to be taken in acount.

In the PMDG 737 NG, this "fake button" is located in the upper left hand corner of the MCP.

That button works though Brad; I've used it to take off many a time. Before using FSP and going back to a couple of light aircraft that
is....

I know it works John. That's why I put "fake button" in quotes. I meant it's fake, because that's not really where it's located in reality. In
reality, it's on the side of the throttle.
