Steve,
If enough of my friends can get off we are going to do my original bachelor party location which was Amsterdam. If not we are just going to throw a blowout in New York. You are absolutely invited Steve, I even have a spare bedroom for you... The more the merrier ![]() Joel, I believe you can get the manual and if you go to flightsim.com there are also tutorial flights that a few such as Darryll Shutt (I think I got the name right and Chuck Gerhman (spelling) ) were kind enought o put together. They are absolutely amazing... Just wait until the flight crew starts complaining about the temp in the cabin LOL Also, I just got some really positive news from the folks at PMDG about the 747 and FsP -Paul

Love the way you ended that message there psolk: "Also, I just got some really positive news from the folks at PMDG about the 747 and
FsP" Why dont you hold the carrot a little closer now so we can ALL have a taste. Are the 2 programs going to be compatible? please please please...... "Captain, the passengers are complaining its too cold, can we have the temperature up in the forward cabin?" and my personal fav: Flight attendant: "Crew seated captain" Captain: "Thanks" I laughed so hard the first time I heard that.

Yeah, I just posted a fresh topic on it. The folks at PMDG have already given their contact info to me to pass on to Dan and have expressed a
definite interest in making the PMDG line compatible with FsP. Amazing how these developers are always so willing. They really love this as much as we do... -paul

Well, all your light controls are on the panel you have when the sim starts...top od screen to the right. The nav, strobes, anti-collision,
logo, runway turn offs, taxi and landing lights. On the upper panel you can summon the ramp to connect external air/power as well as fix and annomallies that may have plauged your flight ( or a do what I did and wait until you're airborn to try all the switches) My personal favorite was dropping the RAT and the pax oxygen...that was good for a scare I'm sure. Also, if you start to move the plane on the ground with the L1 door open...you get an alert message on the overghead panel and the flight attendant sounds frazzled when she says "Captain! the door is still OPEN!!" LOL.....good times Joel, enjoy it. Steve

no no, Dan and PMDG are the men, I am a mere peasant LOL
Flyboy, the lights are all on the overhead panel. You can see them in the VC or on the top of the 2d panel I think there are 12 individual switches and they shoudl be the sane on the 2d and 3d panels... If you are looking at the overhead, the landing lights are the three large switches in the middle of the o/h. Above them are four more switches, from left to right are the nav lights, beacon lights, strobe lights and wing lights Just to the right of the wing lights is another button. That is the logo lights. On the left hand side of the o/h are your cockpit/taxi lights. The button to the left of the nav or position lights is the overhead lights (dome) there are two knobs next to the dome lights and one of those controls the lights on the glareshield. on the same left hand side light panel there are three smaller lightswitches as well. Those are the taxi lights and the runway turnoff lights, all independently controlled ![]() Tough to describe without a picture ![]() So you have 6 switches, 3 landing/ 1 taxi/ 2 turnoff You have 6 buttons from left to right dome, position, beacon, strobe, wing and logo You have one knob, glareshield.... That is lights 101... -paul Damn, steve beat me too it... ![]() Post Edited ( 08-01-05 01:25 )

Yay I got my lights on LOL Now if I can get the boarding ramp to the plane LOL I have to have com set to 127.67 and nav2 to 108.0 which I thought I
did but I must be missing a step somewhere

Sounds like you are using Simflyers, open up the pedestal panel, shft +6 and click the button that says VOR R when you have 127.67 in com1 and 108.0
on the rad/nav page of the FMC
