noticed that you sometimes need to take out alot of fuel in order to get all the passengers onto your plane. Why is this? cus if im going
long distance i need more that 50% fuel. am i being silly?

Could it be that you're carying too much cargo?

Because no aircraft can carry full fuel + full pax + full cargo. For instance most airliners fly routes not according to their theoretical maximum
range, but according to the range they can manage with a full load of passengers and their cargo. That range is usually much less than what they would
manage with full tanks.

hi nem,

nah, i tried in my embraer 170 and there were 120 peps waiting and the fuel was almost maxed out and this made the overall weight
95%, had to reduce this to enable all peps to board. dont like to leave people at the gates, but when i landed and looked in my report i got
told off for not having enough fuel reserves.

any ideas?

p.s. it may have stemed from the fact that i have no payload model for the embraer and so it uses the standard one. can i change the
config to fix this issue?

Use the payload editor to create a payload model. And/Or look in the more downloads section in case somebody else already did.

is there any problems if i start flying the aircraft "110%" when everything is full?

yes it will tell you that it is dangerous to take off when overloaded... it will let you do it but i think it penalises

Yes. That's the deeper meaning of the term "penalize".

i understand my friend but he said "he think" ,not sure i just want some one else opinion who tried this

It may be, as the payload default may not have the weights etc. quite right. I see someone has done a EMB170 payload model, but
whether it's complete for the standard model I don't know I'm afraid, it says something about a training model ?!? Whatever that is....

Yes, you will definitely get penalized if you exceed MTOW.
