Solution for Crash of FSX

Hey guys! i was running the program fine untill a few days ago when steam updated. Now I'm Having problems with it even booting into FSX:SE the text in the error box reads as follows:

Make a backup copy of your current FsP database, put it in a safe place. Uninstall FsP, reboot pc and then re-start FSX. If it functions properly, re-install FsP, reboot pc and re-start FSX-SE and see if the issue arises again. If the error doesn't come back, delete the new database folder, copy the saved one into the main FsP folder so you won't lose company progress. However, if the error comes back, maybe Dan will need to do a small update for compatibility reasons. If you are getting the error after a -SE update, possibly others will, too.

You should begin by telling us more about your issue. There isn't a one size fits all solution. Is it -SE or FSX? Posting the install log AND log.txt will help to some degree. At least it's a start.

Thanks Joe.. Issue is that on start up (and having removed and reinstalled several times as others have tried - with partial and shorterm success) I have the conflict error message when starting FSP. Essentially if I run it, it crashes FSX SE..

Well, to begin with, the x86 Programs file is not he ideal place to install -SE if it can be helped due to protection issues in Win 10. Some others have been able to install it in C:FSX-SE for instance and not have any issues. If you are able to do this, why not install FsP as your first addon and test it. Then start installing one other addon at a time.

Sorry, do you mean completely reinstall FSX SE in a separate folder or just FSP?

same problem, crashing due to 3rd party addon. I have been able to fix it by reinstalling FSPassenger but after 2-3 startups the problem comes again. and I have to reinstall it again.
