yep its true. my mom went to the flight school and got a privet pilot starter kit witch included a E6B and log book, plus the Cessna ground
school CD's and gave it to me as a graduation present. so im learning to fly now, not shure when my first actual lesson will be probly as
soon as i find a good job

Just remember that a good landing is nothing more than a controled impact with the third planet from the sun. Take offs are optional,
landings are mandatory.

more like a controled colition into the weeds of to the side of the runway

ive finised lab 1 on the ground school. so i got to scedual the first lesson.

when it comes to the cross country flights. i got several ideas for flights.
the shool is at Craig, and my home town is just north of it, a 30min flight,
going there and back would be 1 hour ^_^

how are takeoff optional

You dont HAVE to take off.. therefore if you dont take off you dont need to land.


If you take off, your going to need to land sometime.

but if you want to go flying, then takeoffs are not optional.

unless your in the spaceshuttle, in whitch case, liftoffs are optional

Yes. If you want to fly you take off... However if something goes wrong with the aircraft... YOU DO NOT NEED to take off..


However once your up if something goes wrong THEN YOU HAVE TO land.
