this last shot is taken from KFTY (atlanta Fulton County) any one know why im seing airplane shadows in the sky. Thire stationery and only appear
when on the ground at FTY.

I tried out the ENB series Sunlight mod along with Shade today. Yeah, a glutton for punishment as far as ENB goes but for some strange reason I was
able to complete 2 FsPX flights without a crash of the sim

it dosent drag them down as much as you might think. but it does hurt them preetuy good. i just wish they had a option to get rid of that virtual cabin,
thats whats killing the FPS in the VC.

but i still get a solid 10fps in high detail areas and im flying with default clouds and traffic X with about 40 and 50% for Airlines and GA
respectivly. once im up in the air and away form the detial it does not hesitate to go back up to 20-40FPS. Ive been looking in to new GPU for this PC
the one i have is kinda, lag luster at best. my 8800 on the old PC was better.

once i get a new GPU ill purchase REX. ive given it some thought, and i think ill get REX instead of AS2012. the deciding factor is the weather
engine. AS12 pages are not telling me any real diffrenc bettween it ASE. so im starting to think its the same weather engine. ill also buy Accufeel
along with REX for that sound mostly. caues i still fly alot of default aircraft so i think that Accufeel would be a good thing to have.

I haven't tried the REX wx engine yet because I like the functionality of AS 2012. The only thing hitting my system fairly hard right now is the high
def clouds at 2048 or 4096 resolution...in particular during heavy cloud draws at busy airports. I backed off from having road traffic. Really not a
big deal for me because I only see road traffic while on approach to an airport, so it's not useful at all. Just eye candy 5% of the time.
I recently installed My Traffic X Pro and testing out various settings to see how high I can run traffic without it sucking the life out of sim
performance. Right now I have it set to 20% and will gradually bump it up for each flight. Currently the sim runs without micro stutters...because I
got rid of the road traffic. Plus, I found that locking frame rates to 30 within the sim and selecting 1/2 the refresh rate within Nvidia Inspector
(relating to vertical sync) really keeps my sim smooth at 30 FPS MOST of the time with any addon aircraft.

For me, the GTX 580 1.5Ghz Superclocked card by EVGA has been a workhorse. It has been worth every penny.

i would not have gotten my traffic X. i would have went for traffix X from just flight. The modles are much better and all designed for FSX DX10, so
you wont have to worry about any unforseen problems that crop up with older modles. i can run it at 50%. i oce crunck it up to 100% in KATL. just to
see. i actualy ran it without to much of a FPS drop. i backed it down thoue, caues i could not get a word in edgwise with default ATC

@Tim...you may be right about the traffic. I installed the higher resolution ones into the sim. They look fine as far as I'm concerned. Having alot of
AI in the sim isn't of great importance to me .

Oh here is my daily flight, stuttgard to Lückbeck. Oh boy I thought that I will have trouble with this aircraft, no flaps and no autoseat, so I need
keeping a close eye. By the ways this aircraft is from lufthansa a Boeing 247D, upgradet by me and new interior and international gauges to.
