Hello.
Age: 47 Location: Norway,- 2 hours driving northeast of Gardermoen "ENGM" airport. Fs passengers is a very good addon for the fs 2004 sim. Changes the way of flying a lot, and reminds me of the adventures of the flight unlimited series. It's fun, and you can find my flightreports in the "virtual airline demo- Norwegian airlines" Take care. Lars Peter. 8)

Well OK, I'm not going to post a pic yet (maybe later), but here's my info:
Name: Paul Age: 46 Married, with one 5-year old son, and a 20-year old stepdaughter. Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA I'm a software guy, and develop avionics software for commercial aircraft. As such, even though I'm not a pilot, I'm fairly knowledgable about flying in general. Its funny that with my background I didn't start simming until just 6 or 8 months ago. 300,000 km/sec. Its not just a good idea, its the law.

Here goes....my apologies if the pic doesn't work. The pic is of me in a CRJ cockpit, as the crew was gracious enough to let
me sit in the captain's seat and the captain took a picture. ![]() Age: 14 Location: SW of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA (4 or so nm SW of KCID on Flight Sim.) Interests: What else? Aviation. ![]() Career choice: Airline Transport Pilot....Is there really any other choice? ![]() Current occupation: Tech, IT, and computer record keeping for my family's (and their partner's) business. http://www.knappcreek.com School: Homeschooled, Freshman (9th grade). from the posts so far in this thread, i don't remember anyone being a female. Am I correct that there isn't any females on this forum?
03-02-2006, 02:15 AM
I think there might be someone, but I'm not sure. I wish there were more female flyers around.
I saw a survey on AVSIM: Out of 2310 people 2282 / 98.8% were male 28 / 1.2% were female
03-02-2006, 03:14 AM
Yeah, I saw that survey too. Looks like there isn't lots of females interested in aviation. It's pretty rare to find a female captain for a major
airline. I think there are only 5000 females working for major airlines in the US.

The best captain that I have ever been flown by was a woman. We flew from KJFK to Shannon Ireland (forget the code) in an A330. I swear, her landing
was less that 50 fpm.
