I know there are lot of 737 jockeys around and as this appears to be one of the better forums around with many interested and knowledgeable members(OK
! Thats the suck up material out of the way) I ask the following question>
There appears to be a hell of a lot of varients on the base model but cannot seem to fathom out the meaning behind the- /w stairs alternative.I would
assume it means that stairs rock up to the cabin door, but alas no ! Only just loaded her up so still playing. Any ideas or answers.

The stairs model has a stairs, wich you can activate using the concord up and down... I think it's fully down and fully up commands for the concord
nose that operates the stairs... The stairs come out from under the door, slides out, then tilts down to the ground.

As for the winglet version, I don't know if there's any more to them than a graphical thing ingame...

Its cosmetic but I think it mainly is there for people with an active imagination that use everything from C&D start loading pax that use the
stairs where airports dont have pax loading ramps or whatever they call those things (I havent had enough coffee and its early)

It's SOME WAY for the PAX to board and de-board the aircraft, right?

Expanding on this thread (which didn't really need expanding) I dont suppose some developer can actually draw up people to see them walk
over to the plane load up, be seated and strapped in ready. I know!! I haven't got anything better to do for 5 minutes so I thought I would just stir
the pot.
Oh! and as an after thought how about the baggage handlers throwing the pooch into the hold.

What would be the point in this? It'd just KILL frame rates, and look pretty! Shouldn't you be checking your aircraft during that time?
Especially with one of the PMDG aircraft? Perhaps you should cut down the time between takeoff and when you enter the
cockpit/simulator then. I use about 15-20 minutes to preflight the aircraft, and get everything ready prior to pushback (in the sim). I'm
never sitting around with nothing to do!
