Even if my mother's dog would have recorded the voices i still would get it because it's still the best atc around i believe. And there seems to be
quite some choice of voices so some may sound better

According to what I read on the RC4 forum, in order to not have a file thats 400 gigs (a stretch of what I read), the voice has to chop and
create various words that it can use for other things as well. With thousands of lines of script it can be a hefty file, so shop n glue together
some scripts from others, and longer strings without chopping is more than likely the best solution

Hmmm, just listened a second time to the video and got used to it already Now all i have to do is wait till dec 10th I think it was traffic 2005
which came with a bunch of patients just awaking from a deep anaesthesia, i really prefer some choppy voices over those drug addicts

Just watched the video and ... well ... that's ... hummmm ... disappointing, to say the least. I mean, all that generated ATC stuff is about
ambience, otherwise there would be no reason to fly with MS ATC because the vectoring is just crap. So even if the vectoring logic of RC4
should be really good, these stuttered voices spoil everything.
I don't understand why they didn't leave all the voice editing to a professional sound studio and maybe rise the price from $44 to $60. They'd
be better off as with what they have now.


SaVas, I agree that most add-ons need work after being released. But in this case it would mean that the voice editing and probably most
of the recording would have to be started all over. I don't think they'll do that.

Man I just watched the video and at first i thought it would be ok but then it just started getting really annoying. I hate to say this but I think
I'll stick with the MS atc. I was really looking forward to this too

Hmmm, I'm also divided about it. I'll check out their forum and wait for some user reviews. I guess it will come to a toss up between good
vectoring and robotic sounding ATC!

well the ground controller sounded excellent, and the pilot really isnt that bad i guess, the worst is probly clearance guy so far, let me
listen a bit more, ok i didnt finish but here goes, i think the voices actually are not tha thorrible, the bad part is the choppiness, if it would
have flowed a lot more than eveyrthing would have sounded a lot better, also, at times, the response time is so quick that you cant even
tell the difference between transmissions, right now I dont think it is worth the $44. I will definately wait for something that flows a bit
better and has a little bit more hesitation. Great product idea though.

Is the real thing like this ?
I got an headache after the first minute trying to catch this uninterrupted flow of values. The "voice" is always the same and as Jim wrote
we can hardly separate each transmission.
And I just had to listen and watch the video !! What shall it be when having to actually fly accordingly to the relevant informations
got from this permanent noise ??
As eazy wrote, this obviously synthetic voice sounding always the same breaks all atmosphere. We are not anymore in a plane cockpit
dealing with an ATC but in front of a computer dealing with a software.
I read that it is anyway the best ATC software available in relation with AI traffic handling and SID STAR vectors. So, may be after a bit of
training these qualities override the annoying head-catching poor sound ?
I will wait and read the first customer's comments on forums but more likely, I will save the 44$ for something else.

My only complaint is that between the words is just slightly too long a delay in certain areas so it sounds a bit choppy, although I DO like
hearing different voices and when the word streams are more fluid it sounds great. If they can pull the words a bit closer together this
would be a fabulous addon

Yep, too much space between, maybe editvoicepak can do something Just for the procedures alone i would love this package.
And i think the difference with buitin atc of fs is that there's many more lines in rc4...
I will get the package anyway Got so fed up with default atc and online too often airports without atc...

Just to let you know: the streamed videos at Google and from the first post even increase the stuttering effect. This has been discussed on
the RC forum. There are two downloadable videos hosted by Mehdi Mostefai (mmmprod) which show a slightly better quality. But still not
satisfying, imo.
