Same thing, just a cockpit view. Here you can realize how small that rwy is. Note that thrust reverser doesn't engage upon landing. It's not
a 747 bug it's just my throttle not working properly. It doesn't close all the way so when I try to engage thrust reverser FS9 won't let me.

just curious, have you ever tried doing a full autoland in a pmdg plane? just wondering how well it works

I tried once with the 747 and that's it! I was barely able to recover from a crash landing at the last second. But I'm gonna give it another try
soon and report back. The737 it's really good...better than leveld 767 in autoland.

Well I don't know if I understood your problem correctly, but the default FS assignment for reduce thrust (even to zero and then into reverse with
planes that have it) is F2... I'm definitely not kidding about that.

Oh, yeah the F2 part is correct....
My throttle doesn't close all the way down (ch yoke defect). If I don't close the throttle first, FS9 can't engage TR....

Very nice landing, I really noticed the wing flexing this time. Looks great! You touched down a little close to the end of the runway, don't
you think? Here in the US TDZ is about 1000' from the runway threshold. Especially with that water on approach, I saw your shadow and
thought you weren't going to make the landing!

Just noticed you landed the 747 at (the now closed) Meigs field. That's why the touchdown was close to the threshold!

eheheh....you almost missed the most important detail!
Yeah, I noticed the shadow too. But it's only an optical effect (probably because of terrain rising underneath). In fact you can see that when
the shadow goes over the TDZ, it smoothly comes in contact with the wheels.
