Some hints to better deal with the FS ATC:
- request an arrival procedure as published, like an ILS via Fix... ATC will clear you to your IAF, and the for the approach and you are basically on your own. That also helps a lot with the enormous vectors after an go around. You can just fly the missed approach as published then. The default GPS is very helpfull there because it has all the procedures. - get AISmooth from avsim. It diverts aircraft that interfer with other aircraft or you on approach into a hold and releases the one after the other in a set time intervall, so you never have to see swarms of aircraft approaching and get never bumped on approach. Great tool! - the MS FS Traffic SDK (from the official FS website) contains the traffic explorer that lists your traffic. Select one, press DEL and it disappears. Very usefull when you are stuck on the taxiway or about to get hit in the air. I bet SWAFO would love to have this one in real life! ![]()
