filing PIREPs through proxy server

Hi,
My network connection requires that everything goes through a local proxy server and after each FsPassenger flight it can save the
PIREP but can't send it to either the FsPassenger test VA server or my virtual airline server which is most certainly geared to support
this. I've checked my internet connection, config file settings, and almost everything else imaginable and can't imagine why this wouldn't
be working. I get the error:
"Attempt To connect to website...
Connection failed !
Error - Unable to connect."
The only reason that comes to mind would be that FsPassengers uses its own network configuration or doesn't regard a proxy and
therefore is trying to connect to a firewall.
Which results in a very annoyed FsPassenger user. (The program is great, don't worry, it's just the fact that a lot of work [flying] produces
nothing [PIREP].) I've googled and FAQed this for days using resources from the VA server/forums as well as advice here, and it has
yielded nothing. I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions. (And no, I'm pretty sure I didn't overlook something stupid.)
Otherwise, like with VATSIM, FsInn and events, it'll have to wait until the summer is over and I'm back on the campus network.
