[SOLVED] Froze up and career lost...any advice?

First I'd like to say what a cracking programme, absolutely terrific work. The praise explains why I haven't just taken
a mallet to my PC......

Just passed 51 hours and promotion, feeling quite happy with myself particularly after making a forced belly
landing at Vegas the
previous night when gear failed on final.

Problem started when making a standard VOR-VOR from Vegas to LA on KingAir. Long taxi on busy airport no
problem until close to
runway and I try to tune to Tower and nothing happens. All keyboard commands are frozen except joystick/throttle
still works. Aircraft still
moving and controllable through joystick but I can do nothing else. Even Escape key disabled. Have to crash via
Ctrl/Shft/Del and then
relaunch only to find the message that my entire career has been deleted and I have to start from scratch. My
stored flight plans are still
there but I am now back at the bottom of the ladder with 0 hours and no company.

Is this the standard crash or something else - and is my career recoverable?
