Pilot transfer qestion (no drew not in FAQ)

Hi, say set up a second company to Hermes Aviaton Air Charter, can I fly for both of them by transfering my pilot between them every time I want to
change company? Is this possible? Just so I can alternate between one and the other with same pilot? Thankyou.

You can, but the cost would probably prohibit you. When a pilot transfers, the company "acquiring" him/her has to pay out quite a bit of money (the
company "losing" the pilot doesn't get any money in return, either). For a high ranking pilot, its very expensive. Otherwise, nothing stops you from
doing transfers, even fairly frequently.

Well I have tried this and now I cannot view any of my flight reports. Error:

"Error unable to find the flight in log file. Flight ID doesn't match
found=NF678 index=NF773"

This happened since transfering the pilot and then transfering him back again.

I'm with Poden on this, it won't be worth your while, it can cost upwards of 2 million bucks to xfer a low- level pilot, and you'd need several
flights to make up for it. If they are both the same airline just get around it by doing all the one company's flights in the other company if
you follow me. Ie use company 2 aircraft to fly company 1 flights. Still keep the seperate livery but edit the callsign to reflect whose flight
they are.

Bummer, I haven't done a transfer followed by a transfer back before. Yeah, could be a real bug allright.

My companies both have lots of money so transfering costs are not an issue, but there does seem to be a bug I've noticed with the flight reports. Each company has about 30+ aircraft and most flights generate around $17,000,000, so I'm not having trouble with the cost, but like I said, this new strange error has occurred which means I can't also upload flights to the virtual airline or view the reports.

Do the other VA guys use two companies in FSP?

Just to stick my oar in, I've transfered my pilot about 7 times now to and from different companies and have had no trouble
whatsoever

I thought that you could just select whichever company to "active" and then upload its flights into the VA page, it will go in the same catergory of
pilot but just with the different company name on the VA. I just wonder why this went wrong. The VA page isn't just for one company but it arranges
the flight reports by pilot, whichever company they were flying for.

Please Dan come to the rescue because now my FS9 is crashing when using FSP. I cannot view flight reports or log them and upload them to my virtual airline. Also in my pilots flight log I can only view flight reports for the company he's in "World Wide Fokker" and not the other flights (which get the aforementioned error), regardless of the active company. Can I have some assistance with this problem?

Another problem:

In my flight log, the flights have become completely mixed up, since trasnfering my pilot, now my flights are have different numbers, for example my
one-before-last flight was flight number 601 and now it has become flight 39! Where is dan when you need him. what has happened here. seriously. my
flight log is SCREWED ok everything is in the WRONG order the dates, the corresponding numbers are WRONG

Does someone have a table that tells the cost of transfering a pilot by ranking? Does the pilot's flight record/points/hours effect the rank
variable at all? It would sure save a lot of time when dong a half restart (new company, old pilot).
