[SOLVED] FS9 - crash over the alps ALWAYS :-/

Hello

ALWAYS when we are flying from EDRZ to LYBE oder from EDRZ to LIPZ for example,
the program crashes ALWAYS some miles in front of Munich
38.000 ft ..so there is def. NOTHING to crash against.. The Monitor gets black and FS9 hangs.
We tried it with our B747SP and with the A319.. several times. It seems to be always on the same place..
Any ideas ???
Can't find a topic here with these problem.
Please.. help us. We would be happy if you had any other then "reinstalling EVERYTHING because your scenery is damaged"

But seriously, do you have any scenery installed? Do any other routes work?

yes ANY other routes work...

Just the routes over the alps..

EZ Scenery is installed and some Extra-Scereny from Germany.
But we had disabled them all in the FS9-Settings

Mhhmm...

maybe we should listen to "danger - UFO less then 2 Miles ?? Aaaarggh !?

Hi Max

It might be a scenery failure but it may as well be some other thing(s)! But in most case it would be an scenery failure! if you have an add-on
installed you might as well Uninstall it! Not the entire FS9 directory, or have you considered if it is some other Things that disturbs the FS system?
Have you tried to change graphic setting's (worked for me )! But you say that you have disabled the scenery... Then it should be gone! Are you sure
you have DELETET the specific area?

No - not deleted. Just disabled in the FS9 - Setting.
Using just the standard-Scereny's now.

Maybe it weill help to change the Graphic setting.. i'll try.

..but at the beginning everything works fine..

I'll see.. but it's quite frustating.. bringing the B747SP to 38.000 or 40.000 ft without coming in stall and then.. WHOM.. crash..

1 time is ok, 2 times is boring, 3 times makes you depressed... we had thes failure now about 10 time..
EVERY time we try to flight this route..

hmm... Do you think it is you're plane? Try with another plane like a Boeing 737?

I know you don't wan't to uninstall the program! But, this might be a last option, if you maybe backupp all add-on planes, payware, freeware, scenery
etc. etc... Or maybe it is just the one EXSACT position you're in (where the point of Failure Begins/ Starts!)! Have you tried to Plan the route maybe
10-20 NM away from the point? Hope this helps!

This is really odd actually, but I stick with scenery problem...

Scenery or afcad file even. Golden hint coming up now
Use the freeware tool filemon.exe, start it just before you reach your route of death, let it crash, then examine the log. It will usually point you
in the right direction

We found the failure !!!!

There was a corrupted scenery file in the region between Stuttgart and Munich !!
When flying just in front of "Illertissen" it CRASHES..

ooooops...

So we copied just the scenery-files from another computer to this one and... no more crash !!!
