The engine start itself is not so difficult... the problem is preparing the aircraft and all the systems in order to start the engines... and the
DF727 simulates all those systems... every single one except the outside of the aircraft. Maybe the best is to give an example of the beginning of
the Checklist... Reason for me giving the example checklist (only beginning portion) is then you can maybe compare it to the CS727 as this is the actual B727 Procedures used by Dreamfleet for their 727.

BTW I went when I first struggled thru some items and went to the support forums and were then referred to a Boeing B727 webpage to see how it works... thats how closely the DF727 represents the B727.

Example of first few checks and that has not even reached the end of cockpit prepration in the procedures... everyone of those things mentioned in the
checklist example below is fully functional and for example where it says TEST there is actually a functional/working TEST routine etc

I think everyone starts that way.. I mentioned 3 hours it took me... what I didnt mention is the 2 full days beforehand which I studied up the panels
and materials before giving it a go

Yes thats in the manual... I typed it there cause Jetflyer asked the following comparing the CS727 with the DF727..

Easiest way then for him is to compare that with his CS727 and see whats different as he prob dont have the DF727 manual... makes sense?

When I said "engine start" I also meant all the procedures that have to be done to allow the engines to start, but didn't mention it, sorry. Obivously
you can't start the engines without setting it up from cold and dark first. And no the manual for the CS 727 is not good, I agree, but you still have
to do the same stuff as on the DF727. I understand everything about setting up hydraulic/electric/pneumatic systems and the APU because I've done it
many times in the CS727 which is not really different from the DF727!

Don't take me for one of those fakes who loads up the plane with everything set and just goes and presses Ctrl+E to start the engines then talks
BS.....I take simming more seriously than anyone else here I'll be willing to bet, but in "reality" I can't afford to fly.

I agree topic should be closed... my last post regarding this... i did not once slag the CS727... check my posts... you said the DF727 ws get in and fly... therefore the posts regarding DF727... no to slag CS727 but to show it wasnt get in and fly.

BTW... the portion of checklist I typed was to try and be helpful (which took me some time) as I thought you were wondering what the difference were in your previous post.. didnt realize you meant someting else... yes and if 2+2 gives 4 you might realize I did it because I thought you took simming seriously and tried to help... in hindsight where help werent needed.

Anycase i'm done and no more from me now and in future...

OK but someone mentioned the DF727 when the thread is about the CS 727. That's not on topic. Im do take simming "seriously" see how mad I get the the computer goes wrong! Also I've got 200hours in less than a month since purchasing FsP.
But anyway though I don't need help the difference between the plane was only that the manual is not very good on the CS727, but the
DF727's checklist items still apply to the plane. Are we on understand. If so, great.

therefore I took time trying to help... else i wouldnt have. The way I understood you were that you were wondering what you were missing and I

Oops... Sorry for the DF intrusion. Comparison to tell one is better than other was not the goal. Simply a 727 is a 727 and I expected that some tips
for one brand would go as well for the other.

And believe me I would be the very last one to undermine how "serious" is a flight simmer because I know that... I am not that serious. I don't mind
pressing Ctrl E to start engines when I did not succeeded the hard way. I try doing the best I can in flight planning but run out schedule by times.

So accept my apologies if something sounded unfriendly or mocking. I wished only to exchange about a plane I cheer.

I've only got the CS727 so i can't compare products or anything. I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of that package. Being mostly used to
more modern birds, it took me a little while to get the hang of the beautiful tri-jet, but it was well worth the effort. I generally find that the
tricks you come up with yourself, work best for yourself, if you know what i mean. You will find what works for you and what methods suit
your flying style, and then you can impliment your own tricks...
