Some problems

I just received and Installed Passengers. I usually fly with MD 82 , the MAD DOG, by Leonardo.
1 - isn't possible to fix Altitude, Nav 1 and 2, Speed with Keyboard. I heard SET AND CHECK
but nothingf happened. The course ( J ) its OK.
2 - Preparing Vole Plane which is better to use ? FS or FSNav or Route Finder?
