Bad thing about new ATI's is they require a lot of power and get very hot.
Smoothness of the game is not related to fsp, 80 fps with small stutters looks worse than 15 fps with no stutters. In fact, around 20 fps is very
smooth (if no stutters), more fps cannot really be detected by the human eye. So i guess what you see is small stutters, usually caused by wrong
texture load width settings in your fs9.cfg
The fsp hit by the mini window is the same as other addons suffer from like reality xp weather gauges or any window which is drawn over the fs9
default window. Some different AA settings usually can change a lot. It's trial and error here I'm afraid.
