FS passengers and a crash with other aircraft

Hi folks

Been using FS Passengersfor ages and recently if im sitting at the terminal loading up pax and cargo and someone taxiing hits me, the
software crashes and cause a FS2004 crash to desktop.

This is pretty anoying when it happens cause you are basically 15 mins into the flight with the FMC getting programmed etc etc.

Any ideas folks.

That has never happened to me - I have honesly never had an AI aircraft hit my aircraft whilst on the ground.

They've crashed into me from behind on finals before, when I've been flying a Cessna or whatever and they're flying a 747, but thankfully never during
an FsP session.

Are you maybe using custom scenery for that airport, with an AFCAD file that maybe takes AI aircraft too close to the gates?

AI Smooth, from what I understand, helps out in keeping AI traffic from crashing into you on the ground and in the air. I haven't
downloaded the program,yet, but I may give it a whirl soon. What I usually do when there is alot of AI traffic in the area(I use My Traffic
2006), I pause the game, go to options and increase the sim rate to 16x(which clears out all of the AI traffic at that moment). I then go
back to options and set the sim rate back to normal. No more kamakazie AI in the vicinity
