FSP and FDC

OK I know there are some posts around about using FDC with Passengers but I can't find my problem or I haven't looked in the right
place.

Actually there are two problems.

1) I started a FsP flight with FlightDeck Companion active and all seemed well apart from the fact that I could not hear anything from FSP
only from FDC. So no music no Co Pilot voice - nothing.

So I started the same FsP flight without the FDC active. And this brought up the second problem

2) Flying a short flight from EGLK to EGCC. All went well with the flight until I started the descent. I pressed the Ctrl Shift and B keys to
light the seat belt sign - Nothing! I went into the menu (don't like doing that as it pauses the flight - very unrealistic) and clicked on the
Seat Belt menu item.

FSP declaired I'd changed the aircraft possition and shut down FSP. I still had the flight going and could land at Manchester without any
problem, just without the FSP going.

So the big question or two is / are

Would it help to re install FSP after FDC?

Do I have to change some of the keyboard settings in eithor or both FSP and FDC?

doeas it make any difference having FS Navigator running at the same time?

FSNav shouldn't make any difference. I have it running after all. FDC shouldn't make a difference, I run FSP alongside Radar Contact V4,
FSHotseat and ActiveSky 6, as well as having ActiveAirsource running in the background and sometimes TeamSpeak as well. Have you
tried clicking on the windscreen (or any clear area of the panel) then using Ctrl+Shift+B to switch the seatbelts. Also do you start FDC or
FSP first? Try it all and see if it cures any of your problems before going down the re-install route.

Hi and thanks for the reply. You have actually answered another of my questions as I next want to buy and instal Radar Contact. I read a
rave review in a flight Sim magazine.

I actually re installed passengers as that seemed the least destructive way. I just flew a route with both FSP and FS Nav and it all worked
fine.

So now all I have to do is fire up FDC, alter a few Keyboard shortcuts and away I go.

FYI: I've been running FsPax and FDC together for over 50 flights w/o a problem.

I usually load FDC before FS9, then connect to FDC, then load FsPax.

Again w/o a problem.
