Just thought i'd write a few comments about this forum, FSP and FS realated topics.
Prior to FSP i'd tried Flight Sim, but always got pretty fed up with it quickly, as it was quite dull. Then I saw FSP, and patiently waited for
the release. It transformed Flight Sim, which I now thoroughly enjoy. THe feedback and interaction that FSP gives is second to none, and
while I have a wish list for changes that I would love to see, it really is excellent as is.
I've also become a payware addict, and have acquired PDMG 737 600/700, 747, PSS A340 Pro, 777 (in thehanger wating for the update
as it crashed FS at the momnet, my airline can't afford to buy it yet anyway), and Level D 767. I've also downloaded a mesh for the whole
world (kept my broadband busy) have Active Sky 6 and Radar Contact v5 (not sure what I think of that yet - I miss the ground interaction
from ATC, though not much else).
I've picked up loads of help and hints from people on this Forum, and would like to say thanks to all who have helped. I was given as a
birthday present an hour in a 737-200 simulator, which was fantastic. The simulator was quite old I suspect (the graphics were FS 95
standard), but the feel of the plane was amazing (link for anyone interested http://www.realsimulation.co.uk/ )
The Pilot who was babysitting me did say he was quite impressed with what I had done, and this was mostly due to the help from
posters on the Forum. Once again thanks and happy simmimg.
