-----------------------------------
I did a night flight to the airport above.
It was pitch dark outside and on my decent I plowed into a mountain.
I was using a FS Nav, programmed flight.
The next day I made the flight in daylight and sure enough on my decent there was a mountain in my path.
I shut the auto pilot off and cleared the mountain and landed.
Question is how could you avoid this while flying at night when not using ATC As a glide ?
I have been flying FS Nsv for several years and have noticed on several flights I had to ovoid this problem.
Comments please .
