War in Iran?!?

Hi,
I guess I am one of a few fsp costumers who fly in Iran mostly. I had noticed that the war percentage was set to 11 for northern iran, and I
never thought I would get shot actually, however tonight after about 100 flights I was shot while landing in Tehran which I find very
unrealistic! I mean for many years there hasn’t been any war in Iran, any hijacking event, and nothing of that type! I could say that flying in
Iran is very safe as far as these things go, even safer than U.S. to be honest. I know how I can edit the dangerous database, but just
wanted to let everyone know.

edit it out, or turn off dangerous areas. It's easy enough to do either way. You're not supposed to get shot at over England or Germany
either but hey, I edited that in there on mine....... I love acting out my story before I get round to actually writing it.

I know. I did edit it! since usually there are a lot of bad news about Iran and many people don't know about the realities, I just wanted to let
everyone know, to edit this if they wanted to make it more realistic.

Flying in any third world countries carries a risk of being shot at (for lack of a better term). Perhaps it's not as high as 11 percent in any
certain area, however there is a chance

The "war" in London is actually around some high security building (Buckingham Palace?). You get shot at because they think you are a terrorist :P

In any 3rd world country, But trust me not in Iran! You have to go there to see for yourself! The security (in airport I should say) is minimal, I
think for domestic
flights it takes less than 10 minutes from entering the terminal to get to your gate! This is just because the government is really in charge
and their inteligent agency's are among the best in the world!
I don't know, but as I said if you check the history of Iranian air space at least for the past 15 years, you will see that it is one of the safest
in the world, if not the safest. (hay it's just that the government knows all the terrorists! just kidding )

I just think that is kinda tough to say. In the U.S. there is not much of a risk of people shooting at you in a plane. In the Middle East (and
some African countries, I guess) there is that chance sometimes, because there is much more terrorism in the area. Just because the
United States experienced one terrorist attack, on 9/11, does not mean that we aren't as safe as Iran.

Where did this happen in Iran?

The war area are circles around a center point. Maybe the war zone circle is centered in Irak or Afghanistant and affect Iran. I'm not at
home now. I'll check that...

No? It's really not that hard to understand: If you need 100 armed policemen to protect you, it doesn't mean you're safe. On the contrary - it
means you are in a very dangerous environment.
You are truly safe if you don't have armed protection around yourself and still nothing happens to you. Easy, huh?

That's what I am talking about!
I simply can tell you that, the Iranian intelligent agencies worked very hard after revolution to take care of terrorim, not for the good of the
people, for themselves! So now they know who is doing what in the country!
You know it is funny that they don't even check your ID anymore! You can buy your ticket and as soon as you get your seat number and
flight tags, you can give everything to somebody else and that somebody could fly instead of you, nobody would know!!!!!!!!!!
And this kind of safety did not happen overnight, it took them at least 10-15 years, very high security I remember in the old days, until they
became sure, almost nobody thinks of terrorism, hijacking, shooting a plane and such anymore.

I know it's a game and we are all having fun here including me who cannot even imagine flying without fsp anymore! I don't even know if it
is possible to do anymore

If you are serious about this, then how can you call that safe? If I were to go to...let's say to Tehran right now, it sounds like I'd be able to
just walk into the airport and be on the plane within ten minutes. And I could be a terrorist and easily be on the plane. But whatever...

And I totally agree, this is the best (and worst cause all I do is constantly play it ) add-on ever made for any game! I can't even fly a short
sightseeing trip without it!

Trust me if you are a terrorist they would know it! As soon as you enter the airport they would know it. They have "unseen" security
personals everywhere in the airport and plus air marshals on the airplane!
also, entering the country is not that easy. I was talking about domestic flights! again, they know who is terrorist who is not.
Then when you went to Iran, relax and just trust the guys. Because again and again they know a lot about everyone ...! This is what I call
intelligent intelligent services ...!
