Technically, reverse thrust won't unlock until the air/ground sensor is in GROUND mode. I'm referencing modern Boeing aircraft. Not too
sure about the good old Lears!

Last night I was test flying a Citation II that I just downloaded yesterday (great freeware) and thought I had the landing nailed. But instead
I bounced like crazy! Too much air in the tires I guess. LOL I didn't really realize how badly I'd bounced, and just decided to fire the reverse thrust while the front was still in the air, only because I wasn't connected to FSP. The aircraft dropped hard to the runway, and when I watched the replay, the main gear were at least 5 or 6 feet of the runway when the reverse thrust kicked in. LOL Oops! When connected to FSP, I would definitely make sure my front wheels were down prior to engaging the reverser.
