CANNOT SET MAPS

HI TO EVERYBODY. AS A NEW......PILOT I HAVE PROBLEM TO SET THE MAPS.
I AM DOING IN THIS WAY :
1 - Program-FSP-Tool-Map Editor
2 - Lat and Long of the departure airport, and click LEFT
3 - Lat and Long of the arrival airport, and click LEFT
4 - Click " write change the current CFG "
5 - I do not know if its correct or I missed something!!!!!

First question: if you are new, why start with customising the maps?

Second: you describe what you are trying to do, but you do not mention what the problem is...

The problem is that IU cannot see any maps. Apologize my
