Problem with Dangerous Areas

Hello folks,

I come now to ask about the dangerous database in FSPassengers.

Rio de Janeiro is becoming fastly one of the most dangerous cities in Brazil. I wanted to add it to my Dangerous Area in FSPassengers
but when I fly over it... NOTHING happens!!!

Here is the line I added:

Rio de Janeiro Ilha do Governador;fail=0;war=95;lat=22.48;lon=-043.15;range=50;
Rio de Janeiro Centro;fail=0;war=95;lat=22.54;lon=-043.09;range=50;

Is anything wrong?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Looks good to me (as long as you have the right coords). What altitude did you fly at? Try taking off to see if you hear gun shots.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

I did a SBSJ (Sao Jose - Sao Paulo) to SBGL (Galeao - Rio) and nothing.

I changed the cfg file again.

Rio de Janeiro Ilha do Governador;fail=0;war=95;lat=22.48;lon=-43.15;range=50;
Rio de Janeiro Centro;fail=0;war=95;lat=22.54;lon=-43.09;range=50;

Now I put -43.15 and -43.09 instead of -043. I don't know if this will change anything as I didn't test. I'll test it and get back to you.

Hi Phil, guys,

I got it right now.

Rio de Janeiro Ilha do Governador;fail=0;war=35;lat=-22.48;lon=-43.15;range=50;
Rio de Janeiro Centro;fail=0;war=25;lat=-22.54;lon=-43.09;range=50;

I did not know I had to add a "-" before the lat numbers.

Now I got it how it is above and it is working. That war thing is a bitch , ain't it?
