FSP Does not recognize dest airport

Hey there,

First i want to say hello to everyone and greet the developer, great work!

I love to play with fsp on but since a few days i got a weird problem here. When i set my destination (ie EDDF, frankfurt) the programtells me that i
landed at JFDH, or some other random CIAO that doesnt exist, in the end flight report. It just makes a random CIAO, but i really DID land at
frankfurt! Ive tried to reinstall but it still didnt work, it worked a few days ago, made around 20 flights in this way.

Really a shame, i loved the program!

yes,, i read the FAQ but ive made around 20 flights to gate a 36 at frankfurt and it worked out every time, till a few days ago, though i'm using
add-on scenery for months now.

I cant find a real solutions in these topics. Stop closer to what point exactly? The CIAO are probably the helipad CIAO, gonna find hat out now.

open the gps, press 'nrst' if where you planned to land is the nearest, (top of the list) then your good to go. (or stop ) If its not, then you
are closer to somewhere else...............

Did you install besides frankfurt any other addons? Some others for germany or switzerland or even china? (there is some addon for china which can
mess up some icao codes worldwide)

hmmm, i found out that these ICAO codes are the "HELIPAD" codes. I use cloud9 EHAM add-on, aerosoft mega airport EDDF (these both have a seperate ICAO
code for the helipad) and 767 Level-d simulations. I often do make short flights from amsterdam to frankfurt so heres the problem. Thanks for your
help, though i cant get a gps on my add-on 767 i guess...isnt there another way to see nrst airport? thanks alot. (oh maybe via ATC, nah not via atc :p)

you can edit the afcad files to remove the helipad codes
or
edit the panel cfg file in install a shortcut key for the gps

damn that sounds pretty hard. Ive tried an 737 with gps on gate 24 and 36 and they did both named EDDF as the nearest airport. Weird it didnt with my
767 without gps. I just made a trip from eham to eddf and set the parking brake right at the end of the runwat et voila, it was EDDF again. Sad though
, i want realism and i wnat to taxi to the gates hope any1 has a slight more easier way to fix this... thanks.

hmmmmmmm **** . got the gps in my 767 now made various flights , but still got the wrong destination! GPS is telling me that the nearest airport IS
EDDF but still i get the helipad? im like WTF mates? :p thanks again.

yep must be the helipad, not sure if they show up on gsp or not, thou i dont think so.

there are prgrams out there to help you edit afcad files, so you can remove the helipad, but ive never used them so cant help, sorry

yes this helipad shows up in the gps, thats the strangest part tbh.
