Why cant you buy more than one aircraft of the same type? I have 1 Stock Lear in my small company. I decided to buy another one, but when I tried, it
said my company already owns this aircraft. What gives? Is it not possible to one day own a whole fleet of 737's? Can you only have one of each
type of aircraft?

Yeah you can only have 1 aircraft for each type unless an update is being made for this.

i think in the meantime, you can buy like PMDG's 737 then the default 737 and any other elses 737 you can find downloadable.

as a solution, you can create multiple entries in the aircrafts cfg file, so that multiple versions of the same aircraft exist in flightsim. (just
make sure to give them different names) You can then buy that aircraft multiple times.

you can buy the same aircraft but they must have a different livery.
