Perhaps you could enhance the entertainment options by adding 30minute sitcoms or 45 min news shows, it could boost satisfaction on flights to short
for a full movie, or be used on really long flights in conjuction with a movie. Just a thought. Jim

I'd like to see options like this as well for those who want to bulk up the business side of the program.

I've seen people argue that FSP is really about being a pilot and having to deal with passenger concerns like turbulence but that really isn't a good
argument. Pilots of the airlines don't buy the planes, don't maintain the planes, don't choose the music played and several other things that FSP
already supports. It crossed that line already so it might as well improve those areas when it moves forward.

As I said, I'd love to see all sorts of potential services added. Perhaps I could add broadband access and then come to find that it just is too
costly to maintain on my Dash-8, etc. Air phones are under attack now because almost no one uses them but they have to be maintained all the same,
which is costly. I'd like the option of dealing a deal to get XM music but then risk the odds that passengers might not use it and I lose the
investment, etc.

Of course everything should be optional for those who just want FSP to handle passenger happiness and that's it.

Not true. The entire reason for FSPassengers is to simulate (duh) PASSENGERS. Rather than flying an empty plane or one with
inanimate payload, the pax side gives a new dimension to the way a pilot flies, as these "passengers" react to conditions of the flight.
The economic model, which is what you're referring to is an option, not the essential reason for the program, as you can opt to
disable it. The career and economic model options are designed to enhance and give more depth but are not the core essence of what
the program is about.

I never meant to suggest that the economic model was anything other than an optional side of the product. However, it's also a part of the product
and, thus, one that should be given attention from time-to-time as well. Heck, the passengers are even optional in FSP. I can fly every single flight
without them and just use the other parts of product. I can't imagine doing that, but you can.

I never fly with passengers, the only reason they are there is to up the popularity level. I just fly cargo, unless its a small jet, for the big wigs.
But otherwiese, nope, not happening. Im a cargo dawg at heart. heck, you should see how much cargo Ive managed to carry.

Edit: to date I flown 127,072 pounds of freight in 34 flights, using 56,548 pounds of fuel earning a total of $13,774,710 and a total company vaule of 13,698,415
Average fuel used per flight 1,663 pounds
Average freight flown per flight 3,737 pounds
Average income per pound of freight $108.40

As you can see, its profitable. And this is just small DC-3s and vairous props. I havnt even done a flight in my newly aquired Super Connie. and that bird can haul alot of frieght (fuel just may kill.
