As far as I know, the voting is not now. It's only the nomination process...

Avsim has made specific rules for the nomination process:

SUBJECT OF MESSAGE MUST INCLUDE THE NOMINATED CATEGORY AND THE PRODUCT OR ADD ON. Example: Freeware

ONLY ONE NOMINATION BY AN INDIVIDUAL IS ALLOWED. MULTIPLE NOMINATIONS BY A SINGLE INDIVIDUAL WILL BE DISALLOWED
AND ERASED.
NOMINATIONS OF A PRODUCT BY A BETA TESTER, AUTHOR OR PUBLISHER OF THAT PRODUCT WILL BE ERASED.
