[new feature] Ask ATC to be allowed to exceed 250 kts limit

Maybe (it's an idea for the next version, if it's too late now) there could be a checkbox or similar in the options: "Are you flying
online?" If
no, you made the request for ignoring speed limitation and FSP gives to you the answer: yes or no according to its internal rules. If yes,
you can force the answer according to the answer of the "real" online ATC.

What about 2 options:

"Ask 250kts clearance" <- Offline flight
"Online ATC has given 250kts clearance" <- When you are online and allowed 250kts


And, in case this can happen in real flight:

"Online ATC has cancelled 250kts clearance" <- When you are online and ATC has given you clearence, but at some point cancels
it

But this is the whole point in FSP, isn't it. Otherwise we wouldn't even start it

Yes but what I mean is that this option would render useless the "ask authorisation"
with eventually response hazard... one just need then to click on "online ATC has
given clearance" to be 100% time allowed.

Also the workaround you can use (ie: ask to FsP before then ask contact if FsP gave you the clearance, OR
disable this penality in more option) are sufficient in my opinion to not need one more menu and keyboard
option... there is enough entry in the menu yet to not add also particular case. (only a few % of simmer fly on contact or online)

I think I understand your reluctance to add an option that overrides one of the FsP features... Guess we'll have to store 2 different .ini files.

This won't stop me from buying FsP :finger:

You are lucky... the "more_option.cfg" is loaded when you start a FSP flight only and not at the start of FS2004,
so you don't need to quit FS2004 to switch beetween two "More_config.cfg" files.

(switch windows, call perhaps a *.bat that do the switch and start your
flight with the new "more_config.cfg"
