I re-installed fsx and now I am going to re-install fspax. How can I import my back-up?

If you made a back up of the main FsP folder from your previous installation, all you need to do is delete the NEW database within the new FsP folder, copy/paste the previously saved database into the main FsP folder. Or, just copy/paste the entire previously saved FsP folder into the Documents directory and overwrite. Either way will be fine.
