Aircraft Jumping

I think I saw a post somewhere about this issue but I cannot find it. When switching from "Cockpit view" to "Spot view" the aircraft will occasionally jump off of the ground a couple of feet. This occurs when sitting still or when taxing. This causes FS Passengers to detect a crash or severe turbulence. ruining the flight. Sometimes the aircraft tires will appear to be sunk half way into the concrete as well. This always happens on the same aircraft and never on others. I seem to remember the fix for this requires some complicated file changes. Any suggestions?

This could be the result of faulty scenery. Is it addon scenery or default? I've had that happen a time or 2 even with default scenery. The scenery may have a bad AFCAD and needs adjusting in some cases. If you aren't familiar with how to do this, don't try it unless you get familiar with a AFCAD editor.

Thanks for your reply, This always happens with default scenery and a couple of add-on aircraft from FlightSim.com. I remember seeing somewhere a detailed guide to adjusting scenery/AFCAD files, but I cannot find it. I would have no trouble adjusting them. This issue only occurs when I use FS2004, which I use most of the time instead of FSX. I have both on my computer.

The addon aircraft freeware or payware? I could see this happening with some freeware aircraft that have bad contact points. Maybe that could be the problem as well. As far as AFCADs go, I use payware AFX (Airport Facilitator X) for FSX. Really great program but I don't know if you can use it for FS9.
