I'd say this IS possible with the aerobatic A/C, but there is a detail or two that makes me doubt this video.

One is that (almost) immediately after the wing flies off, the pilot manages to roll it opposite to the natural "wing-up" in that case. This
might JUST be possible with an aerobatic plane with huge ailerons... but I still very much doubt it. And then, the landing sequence seems
to be very jerky and does not give a consistent picture of the landing. So... I am unable to determine whether this reel is real (yeah, pun).

Still, thank you for a nice find, sir : ) I am quite anxious to find out the backbround of this story. Maybe even to a point where I will
undertake some research.

It's false - viral marketing by a clothing company.....


If it 's real (which its not), and not CGI, then the aeroplane shows behaviour typical for wing and power loadings that are impossible to
achieve with real aeroplane, but are quite common within flying models.The relative speed of wing separation suggests a very small
aeroplane (model), as does the frequency of the bounce on landing.The body lift for the landing (with 90-degree sideslip) could not be
achieved on a manned-sized aeroplane; maybe not even on a model. That may or may not be CGI...The sudden loss of focus on the
landing roll is due to auto-focus confusion between the subject and the background. This would not happen if the subject was more than
10 metres from the camera. So if it is real footage, the subject is very close, meaning it must be very small (a model)

I don't know... I had the video sent to me via email, I think it would be more believable if we got to see the other side of the plane after the
pilot got out. It looked like a RC plane landing for as fast as he stoped.

as the others said before. only an aerobatic aircraft could acomplish that. but you can tell this is fake

as he land's you can hear the engien is running at high RPM's. altho the torch and P-factor might help you controle it in this situation it
wont help speed wich you need to lose. he idels the throttel after hiting the dirt so he landed as if he was a navel aviator on CVN-76.

wich means even if he could touch down. and keep it on all wheels he would have a good ground roll ahead of him. he stooped way to
fast for this to be real. it would have went futher if it was real.

plus just looking at it you can tell its CG or a real BAD camera.
