FsP compared to Airliner Pilot

Hi,

First of all, I bought FsP a week ago or the like and I'm more than happy with it - has made my flying far more fun than before I got FsP!!

But...today I noticed there's a product called Airliner Pilot and I'm just curious if anyone have both products and could tell what's the
biggest difference between them? To me they seems to be quite similar.

I know there is a demo for Airliner Pilot too. You should try it by yourself, as we can't really be impartial...

Personnally, I uninstall it two weeks after the download. It can be used with FsP since it's a lot diferrent. I know Phil (Ryanamur) use AP
with FsP.

i used the demo of airline pilot, was thinking about buying it.

Then came across FSP and tried the demo of that.

I've only bought 1 of the above products, and here i am

ive had both since both were released.....................................my choice would have to say FSP.you can use both programs together and no
problems,AP is worth the money but FPS is alot more value.

There really is NO comparison. They're both entirely different products in their operation and goals.

I own Both and i think Airliner Pilot is more realistic, like for ranks and all. But Fspassengers is by far more fun. In airliner Pilot you might
have to do a long flight you dont have time for so then you cant go up in rank, in FSP you choose were you fly to so you can always go up.
Also airliner Pilot is just plan boring at cruising.
SO in my opinion FSP is by far much better

I also noticed that it seems that you can't choose what a/c to fly in AP which I want be able to, so I'll just continue enjoying FsP

No actually I don't. Airliner Pilot lasted two flights on my system. It's a good program but it's not for me. I don't like programs that lock me
into playing FS2004 in a way I don't want to. Some people really like AP and I don't blame them. The interface and game play is really well
designed. My only problem is that AP doesn't let me fly the planes I want to and the flights that I want to.

I looked at Airliner Pilot but since most of my flying is bush flying FSP was much more useful to me.

same thing for me. I ran both.. FSpassengers is the one i bought. Airline Pilot was nicely made. one thing i woudl like to see in the FS passengers
thing that Airline transport pilot had was the assigning of flights. like you started off with the Dash8 couldnt fly anything else. it gave you a
salary and rank and you had to fly an assigned flight.

A NICE addition to Fspassengers woudl be a autoassign flight and maybe a software office like ATP has. That was nice but as far as the inflight
services and the critiquing of the flights...FSpassengers cannot be beat.

To the person that said ATP is better made i disagree and that may be because i like feeling like i have actual passengers back there i didnt get that
with ATP. FSP tho.. serious application. THANKS DAN!!! LOVE THE PRODUCT.
