I would be happy (& Surprised!) if FSX came out by this time next year. So I say fix FS9 now and be happy.

It might mean less bugs, but knowing MS it will still have a couple of millions of bugs

All those stories about windows and bugs. If you don't like, don't use it And, Linux/Unix have still more bugs than Windows, a lot more.
The only crashes i ever had on my xp station were all my own fault, not the os.
It sometimes makes me wonder why our american friends are pro boeing just because it's an american company, but when it comes to microsoft, by far one
of the most succesful companies of the US, they just bash it because of some bugs. There is no software in the world without bugs.....

I've been testing Vista out - and I can say right now that it is definately *not* production-quality. It is not fit for public release, nowhere near it.

Wait I read that FSX wont have to run on windows Vista, but it would be better for it to run on windows Vista rather than XP.

Well yeah, that's the deal. Vista is delayed, but its unclear how this will affect FSX. Personally, I'll be happy to use FS9 for quite some time to come.
