Fired my Co-pilot

Gents,

SInce service pack 3 the sound of Level-D 767 is better and louder . Yesterday i fly from Amsterdam to Antalya and my copilot was busy
with the flaps. But on some reason FSP say that the flapes are frozen and i decalare an emergency. After that i landed good but the text
pilot makes a human mistake etc. I was not happy with my co-pilot so i fired him

I now do the flaps on my own that is much better

Just like a real plane.. the FO does all the work, the captain sits there and "supervises."

Actully I had a perfect flight, and was comming in and becuase it was over mountains, the co-pilot Lowered my gear, and what do you
know -- I was still going to fast, and my gear broke, he hasent seen the light since

I also have 'fired' mine a long time ago. I just didn't see the fun in him managing 'MY' aircraft.

...seems as your co-pilot is the same flying before in my LDS 767, I fired him as well... seems like he did find a new job in your company,
at least for a short while
...I do flaps by myself and let handle only the gear by the co-pilot

Part 2 of the Level-D 767-300ER. Saturday i flight to the carrabian for a nice holdiday. I fly on Flightlevel 060 and my speed was 220 knts. I
release my flaps and FSP get a message that my flaps are frozen :S I now disable the flap warning as i do not now if the problemen
Level-d is or FSP.

Are you talking abotu FsP co-pilot or Lvl-D Co-Pilot?

Next to FSP the best add-on I've bought: FSHotseat, Copilot does NOTHING you don't approve first.

Well, the cop' mainly bother me with useless whinning and by times save my a$$ with some usefull warnings. So... OK, he can stay in
the cockpit

I was also until recently a staunch "do it yourself" partisan. I love my Boeings 727 an 707 also for this reason. I have to tune my radios,
set the courses, headings taking car about wind correction, watchout to stop climb or descent at decided altitude etc.

Now, since I have the PSS A340 and the F1 ATR 72, I become a bit leazy, shame on me, I enjoy letting "George" doing the job while I
play around outside the plane for pics or chat with the fellows flying in network

Ah but a co-pilot in those big airliners when coming in to land is a boon. After all the workload is really too much for a single pilot, partly
why they have 2 in real life. I'm still a consummate professional about how I do things, All checklists carried out (though I don't need the
printouts very often anymore), taxi and holding points all done by the book. The only thing that is a little unrealistic is I do like my music
when flying (and I'm sure real pilots are not allowed a radio of any sort....)
