Will these lower my FPS?

I was thinking about getting packages like Ground Enviornment, Flight Enviornment, etc. Will they lower my frame rates dramatically?

i have a question also. is there a particular order to put ground env. ultimate terrain or fsscene 2004? i just dont get the same ground
effect as picture on website

i dont think it will kill your frames but i think the additional addons eg ultimate traffic and any other scenery to make it look the way it look
on their website may cause some frame drops oh also global 2005. And it also depends on your computer unit

I have Ground Envirronment...& I don't have a single FPS drop.
I use it with FSGlobal 2005...But you can have freewares mesh on avsim & others.

Most ground textures will not diminish frame rates as they just replace the ones default in FS9.

Thats one thing I like about BEV is the ability of using files that are actually an inprovement over the default as you can choose the same
size which I believe is 512 x 512 or less graphic intensive ones that are 256 x 256 (going from memory) or a mix of both.

Flight Environment is the same and nice thing about this is you can use DXT3 cloud textures which is barely noticible graphically but
allows you to have more clouds without much impact
