Flashing problem [solved]

Hi i have had a new computer.

When i start a flight and go to spot mode the scenery and plane starts flashing.

how can i stop this


Intel R
CPU 2.60GHz
1.00 of RAM

Think you might look into getting the latest video card drivers.

Do i need to download the latest graphics driver or could it be fs2004?

Check if your drivers are out of date.

If they are normal, it is FS. It is known to have about 75,255,362,462,839,638.9837 bugs.

The best and cleanest way to do would be;
- Download the latest drivers for your card.(don't install them yet)
- Uninstall the current drivers so that the default VGA drivers will be active. (reboot also)
- When your pc is up and running with teh VGA drivers, install your newly downloaded drivers.
- Reboot again, check fs9 whether the flashing has gone

And if the screen looks really crappy, you did it successfully. If not, you probably have multiple sets of drivers which means they were
conflicting in all probability.

could it be corruption from fs2004??

Fs2004 is corrupted

someone else had the same problem on avsim form and it Corupted

So I get one tommrow after school

try disabling render to texture, by unchecking the box in fs2004 render to texture found in fs settings/display/hardware

Now I have bimap squrars

All I had to do was download the latest ATI and the latest Direct

FS2004 has stopped flashing
